Unusual But Awesome Doggy Style Wedding

Weddings are indeed one life changing event, for humans. But with this kind of generation wherein almost everything is possible, even animals can now exchange their vows too. A great of example of this is this Doggy Style Wedding.

Like any other wedding event, this Dog Wedding is well planned and prepared. From the floral arch and red carpet, the wedding gown for the bride and coat and tie for the groom up to the reception wherein guests and newly weds can celebrate while eating great foods.

Doggy Style Wedding - The Story

Doggy Style Wedding - BARBIE and ALT
Guests pose with the doggy newlyweds, Barbie the bride (L) and Alt the groom.
The bride's name is BARBIE while the groom's name is Alt, both of them are Yorkshire terrier.

According to the dog owners:

Kateryna Atamanchuk - owner of BARBIE

“I traveled to China with my husband once and there I first saw a dog wedding. It was a lot of fun,”

“Our dog Barbie just reached that time when she needs a man. We found one for her and then I thought, ‘why wouldn't they get married?’” she says. “She is a virgin, he is her first man, everything seems to be just right.”

Yulia Savchenko - owner of ALT

“I don’t think dogs need this,” “And I don’t think we would do that if we had to pay at least something,”

Savchanko explained that they were just looking for a female of the same breed “to meet some (of their) dog’s natural needs.”

“When they offered us a wedding, we didn’t mind, at least our kids had fun,”  “Though I should confess I find the idea pretty crazy.”

The wedding ceremony lasted for two hours. It was a fun filled one according to the owners of the above mentioned dogs and according to their guests (which includes dogs and humans) as well.

The Wedding Certificate
The marriage certificate was as real as the ceremony, with information about the canine couple and even their paw signatures.
The newly wed dogs are kind of facing some sort of marital issue though, first is they can't live together since they have different owners. Second is marital fidelity.

According to canine specialists Evgeniy Bardulenko;

“Of course dogs can love. But adultery is not a problem for a dog couple. They can and most likely will have other partners,”

“Animals don’t think of sex as a part of their devotion to each other, it is only the right scent that matters for them.”

One thing is for sure though, there will be no divorce whatsoever! The owners of Barbie and Alt wishes that their married dogs will live happily ever after.
