Geeky Wedding Invitations With Circuit Boards and Blinking LEDs
Wedding invitations don’t get any geekier than this. Bill Porter and his fiance Mara really wanted to come up with invitations that popped and screamed geek all the way. With their wedding theme being ‘Circuits and Swirls,’ the power couple put their heads together to come up with DIY invitations that involved circuit boards and embedded LED lights. Source
Millennium Falcon Star Wars Cake
If you really want to go all out on a sci-fi wedding cake though, there’s no greater touch than adding working lighting. Just look at how amazing this Millennium Falcon Star Wars cake by The Butter End Cakery looks with those glowing lights in the front. Source
Ewok Wedding Invitations
What do sentient fur-covered bipeds, native to the moon of Endor, have to do with weddings? Probably nothing, that was until Tribe member Melissa designed these incredible accordion fold wedding invitations… Source
Twilight-Themed Wedding - Surnames Changed To Cullen
This lovely young couple married on February 5, and to celebrate their affinity for The Twilight Saga, incorporated several themes from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1's wedding, including changing their names. Hunger Games Wedding
A little visual fantasy for Team Peeta. Of course, the real Katniss probably wouldn't be caught dead in this gorgeous fluffy dress. Source
Adventure And Full Of Pirates Wedding
This is a picture from an "adventure themed wedding ceremony" that took place in Thailand yesterday because why should a wedding NOT end with you being chased by pirates? I'm not sure what else an adventure wedding entails, but from the look of things it's abandon your wife if she falls behind. Do you, William, take this woma-- "PIRATES! EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!" Source
Star Wars Wedding
Couple Nadia (Web Designer) and Dale (Programmer) had a full Star Wars-themed wedding. The 501st legion acted as a guard of honour and raised $1000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation. An R2-D2 projector that acted as ring bearer, a Jabba the Hutt wedding cake, painted planets from the Star Wars Galaxy for all the tables, and all the guests dressed up in Star Wars attire. I have to agree, they are geeky and it gets geekier as I scroll down the post hehehe. The Breaking Dawn wedding has inspired a lot to follow suit, I think, at least on the setting part and the gown. I don't know about the changing of names.
I like the idea of having blinking led lights. That was simple but a bit techie.

These are all interesting wedding ideas, geeky, nerdy but it's unique.
I've seen one of these in a celebrity's Instagram page - getting married with a Star Wars theme. Very nice.
These are really out-of-this-world! I don't know if I'm up for that, really takes a lot of imagination and budget, probably.
I personally may go for a Star Wars' themed wedding one day :) The culture of Star Wars is something deeply embedded in me and it would be a crime to not have a part of it in a life milestone!
all of them sounds really cool! and looks cool too! i love all the geekyness! xx
